About Swan Hotel
Stunning rural wedding venue set in Gloucestershire with a location that not many places have. Bibury is often known as the most beautiful village in England. With a capacity of 150 guests, licensed for indoor and outdoor ceremonies and a fantastic team behind the scenes is one of the most compelling venues in the region for an unforgettable day.
Ceremony in the cosy library
If you plan your wedding in the winter or the weather won’t allow you to be outdoors you can have your ceremony indoors and depending on how many guests you have invited you’ll be able to choose from the Library or the Signet Room. On this particular day, the Library was the perfect room for an intimate cosy ceremony.
Photos pre and post-ceremony
Claire & James have chosen to do a “secret” first look before their ceremony. This was a great idea to have some intimate time amongst each other in romantic settings plus gave us the opportunity to take some stunning images before the early sunset in December. We also headed outside after the ceremony having about 40 minutes of daylight we took plenty of family photos as well as some more couple portraits.
Food and speeches
You’ll love a cosy Christmas setup for your wedding reception. The Signet Room will accommodate up to 110 guests and you will be looked after by the most amazing team at the Swan Hotel.
The party! Dance floor and first dance.
After your wedding breakfast, you’ll be invited to begin the first dance in the Signet Room. It’s the perfect place for all the dance-floor fun with access to the Library for the ones who need a little quiet time.
